The common and the High Street
Redbourn's High Street follows the old Roman road of Watling Street, and its centre is a conservation area. Around the common there are cottages and period houses, some timber-framed, with old clay tiles and lead valleys. For these we use matching tiles where we can, and reclaimed ones where they look better than new.

Away from the common, most of Redbourn is post-war family housing, with hipped and gable roofs, garages and extensions. The usual jobs here are ridge and verge repairs, replacing flat garage roofs, new fascias and soffits, and fencing that's taken a beating from the wind across the open fields.
